Dear friend,
Having been through two episodes myself, I say the best thing is to find a neuroleptic medicine that has no side effects for you. I have tried about 5 or more, and finally found one that suits my needs. It won't necessarily stop the voices, but it will help you gain perspective so that you can disbelieve the things they claim or argue with them or ignore them entirely.
With luck, they will go away. They did for me once, for several years. I am now waiting for the second episode to end.
