For those who are attending the Toward A Science of Consciousness conference (April 10-14, 2012 in Tucson, Arizona), Prof. Brian J. McVeigh will be giving a talk on Jaynes's theory titled "Hallucinations as Adaptation: Divine Voices, Visions, and Autoscopy as Neuropsychological Vestiges" on Wednesday, April 11 during the 4:30pm - 6:35pm "Evolution and Free Will" session.
Julian Jaynes Society Executive Director Marcel Kuijsten will be attending the conference, and an informal gathering of Jaynes enthusiasts will be arranged if there is sufficient interest. If you are planning on attending please send an e-mail to info "at" julianjaynes.org
