Just for the record for the webmaster, Steve Hagen mentioned Julian Jaynes' definition of consciousness in his book 1998 book How the World Can Be the Way It Is: An Inquiry for the New Millennium into Science, Philosophy, and Perception https://books.google.com/books?id=YmbYA ... ian+jaynes

Hagen was making the case that no one gets the definition correctly, as it related to Buddhism/"reality".
